Key specifications of the Sony Xperia 5 V as revealed by Geekbench
Yesterday, Sony announced that the Xperia 5 V will be shown off for the first time on September 1. A Sony device with the model code XQ-DE54 and what are thought to be the Xperia 5 V’s key specifications has turned up on Geekbench. The company has not yet disclosed any details about the smartphone’s features, but the details have been leaked online.
The XQ-DE54 comes pre-installed with Android 13 and a memory capacity of 8 GB. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC serves as the device’s primary processor. Although this has not been verified, there is a possibility that there will be additional RAM options. According to a listing on Geekbench, the only currently known specifications for the Xperia 5 V are that it will come with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and up to 16GB of RAM. In addition to this, it was confirmed that the device will be able to support fast charging at 33 watts. The XQ-DE54 scored 2,004 points in the single-core portion of Geekbench and 5,059 points in the multi-core portion of the test. These results are on par with those obtained by a few of the other smartphones that we tested with Geekbench.
